For those who prefer the slimmer, more conventional appearance of the JP Compensator line but demand maximum performance truly on par the effectiveness of JP Recoil Eliminator, the TRE-5 Series of our compensators fits the bill. At 1.2" outside diameter, these compensators don't meet the 1" x 3" restriction that spawned the original JP Compensators, but for the duty use, hunting, recreation, or most any other use, the TRE-5 Series offers a slight edge on performance over its little brothers without a radical aesthetic departure.

Usage
1/2-28 TPI is the industry standard for AR-15-type rifles and also appropriate for custom applications.
This model's final exit hole of .281 will accommodate bores up to .243/6mm. This exit hole can be enlarged to accommodate bores up to .358.
